2024 June 29 We’re on the Map

I’ve attended a few Greater Cleveland Wild Ones events this year including a Winter Sowing Workshop at LCCC and the Wetland Planting at Impett Park. I love the work they do encouraging regular people to plant native.

The garden sign is surrounded by Purple Coneflower and Coreposis with White Panicle Aster and Helianthus behind it.

The Northeast Ohio Native Habitat Corridor is a growing movement of people and businesses that are committed to improving the native habitats in Northeast Ohio. We provide native host plants for birds and pollinators, water sources, shelter and places to raise their young.

The links in blue above will lead to an ever growing map of native gardens. Hopefully our bird and butterfly migrations will increase the biodiversity in the area! Join in!

The yard is in full bloom right now with mostly native plants. The butterfly bush and Shasta Daisies are not native and likely to be potted up next year.
